Weld Bungs & Tube Adapters for Off-Road Fabrication
Heavy-duty weld-in tube adapters (weld bungs) for building suspension links, radius rods, steering links, and custom off-road fabrication. These threaded inserts allow chromoly heim joints or rod ends to be installed into suspension tubing for strong, adjustable link assemblies.
Available for the heim joint sizes we carry with multiple tubing diameters and wall thickness options, making it easy to match the correct adapter to your suspension build.
Choosing the Right Bung
Match the thread size to your heim joint and the OD to your tubing. Common pairings from our catalog:
1/2" thread — fits 1" OD and 1-1/4" OD tubing. Available in flanged and standard styles.
5/8" thread — fits 1-1/4" OD tubing at .095 wall.
3/4" thread — fits 1-1/2" OD and 1-3/4" OD tubing.
7/8" thread — fits 1-1/2" OD and 1-3/4" OD tubing at .120 wall.
